KIDS TOTAL: 2.56 miles
After dinner tonight, we went for another walk. Again it was only 80 degrees, but the slant of the sun made it VERY hot whenever we got out from under the shade. Thankfully, the route is mostly shaded.
We agreed before we left that we would not stop to look for worms and Wesley would not require me to carry him at any point.
Samuel was again in charge of the Garmin and he really booked it! He ended up ahead about half a mile in and decided that he wanted to "win" so off he went. I was a little nervous letting him out of my sight, but I channeled my inner 1980s mom and let him go. We were only half a mile from home. *laugh*
He did the 1.3 miles in 23:08. Wesley and I were behind him finishing the 1.3 in 26:24 (maybe a little less...). Nicholas and Jeff were probably 5 minutes or so behind us.
That's an improvement! And still fun.
